As many of you are aware there are a lot of moving parts with great anticipation of CDL development. We wanted to bring many of you up to speed with what has been happening and where things are. In respects to the amazing pioneers behind the scene our local vision has reached and made a statewide impact, not only securing one of the largest economic development grants in the state but influencing personal visits from Governor Dewine, Frank Larose and Jim Jordan as of recent.
In efforts to increase our communication throughout the community we have increased our monthly tours and showings of the district. With in the last couple weeks we have had group booking from Columbus Grove, West Central Learning Academy and Allen County leadership just to name a few. As interest has increased about the district our partnered realtor Hartsock will have communication signage followed by publications for those interested in further tours up with in the next couple weeks. This information signage will be helpful for those who are looking at becoming a tenant or general questions on space availability as well as insight on what will be coming NEW to the area. Speaking of new... we are excited to announce that we have now expanded the District by purchasing the lot next to the district 201 building in the District. Though this is a new add on to the development we foresee usage as more space for active outdoor gaming, vehicle charging stations, and convenient parking. We are also excited that Makerspace exterior construction will begin June 2022. Things to look for in addition to furthering the construction plan within the next month are: Central District summer events, new site plans revealed, tenant exposure, and deeper insight on how this project was started, who's involved, and the impact we are having on the community with some cool new visuals by BrickStreet Studios and Cage Design Studios. Thank you Lima for your continued support... let's continue to push our community forward!!! -Central District Lima
